Finally got some waves on the Roseland after a hike. This point worked for a few sets then it was into the middle of the beach. Some frustration but also some really fun rides too and G-Mat 13 goes grrrrreat!!!

Interesting multi-barrelled waveage u had there.

I'm thinking about a local session down the shitpipe tomorrow as there is going to be a big swell wrap-around. Saw some amazing lefts there today. Pity stives is rammed again tho.

    Anyone out tomorrow?

Mixed waist to lower chest high left and cleaner than afternoon tea at Claridge's.

I'm going to try it tomorrow as I reckon it will be a blast.

Just got from Tenerife can,t tell how bad it was 4 to 6ft glass a stones throw from my hotel 75 degrees most days, money well spent. Took my hot waxed Standard and my Neumatic thought I would get my eye in before turming to the Neumatic as I did not want to ruin it first day on a sharp reef as it turned out I only surfed one day on the neumatic much prefering the standard managed to kiss the reef hard a few times including the only tube I caught when it closed out and a hole in the bum of my wetsuit when I rolled off my mat at speed into 3 inches of water

Had a great session today with Ian down Bamaluz. Thankfully got in early as the number of stand-ups grew exponentially until the waves could barely breach the neoprene clad breakwater that formed. Became a bit too "sharp" as Ian put it with all those pointy boards about. Still, some decent waves were had and it was good to be out. Saw a chap in the car park with Redback mat (the one with handles on) pondering whether or not to brave it.

Longest, best shape waves I've had since K-bay I reckon!First hour was quiet, then crowd appeared, but I managed to snake and slalom most of them.Good practice.
Don;t worry about thermos,James.Ta for handplane and hospitality too!

Looks good. Shame those pics are shot from there and not the other side. Well done for handling all the dorks.

Might be a decent after dark wave that.

Yep, plenty surfing I surfed in front of the K16 shop just to the left of the sea swimming pool sort of a bowly wedge with lefts and rights mostly bodyboarders with the odd standup. The locals rip doesn,t matter what they ride they just rip did not experince the localism of some of the spots I have surfed in the Canarys they were mostly cool without being friendly. The only day it got big 4 to 6ft as to 2 to 4ft we had most days I went and surfed the Spanish left as this does not finish on a reef but in a deeper bay and very long rides. There was a long wait in bettween sets which allowed every dog to paddle out to the peak mostly rented softies or short boards who bailed there board all the time would take off on the shoulder and generally screw it up for every one the only good thing was they did not last long no wonder the locals get p*ssed off. When I got out to the peak there were about ten surfers mostly stand ups a good set came through in the perfect position for my take off only to drop on to some ones short board we managed to make the drop with me on the front of his board, I apologized I got got caught up in the moment forgot to look right a great start. After a while there were about six of us out there and nothing was said I noticed that they were not paddling for all the waves and every one was getting there fair share, that we shareing the waves.
