sh*t loads of swell up here. My reef will be perfect right now and I'm in bed feeling like f*cking death. Looks like I've pretty much missed out on the whole of this swell.

    b*ll*cks.

Supposed to be 2.5ft to 3ft fun waves but ened up being a solid 6ft with a lot of close outs and a bitch of paddle out great swell period tho.Wanted to put more air in the mat started with 180 but wanted to change to 90 degree for a bit more rail control and had a poblem with the valve sticking had a hell of a job getting it out and it was waxed before I put it in, could not get the rotary valve to work so ened up back on the beach to sort it out. The paperwork that came with it says there is a way of putting in air or taking it out by turning the valve but could not get it to work which I have now sorted.

Forgot there was a girl in a bikini on a bodyboard affraid

The valve was waxed?! 4 pontoon mats tend to need a touch more air. Where were you surfing?

Croyde nearest North coast break to me took the missus so set out a little later than I would have liked caught it at low tide and incoming. Wind was a lot more stronger than I expected . Parked in Downend carpark 3 quid for all day not to bad and he didn,t mind looking after your car keys.Still yet to experience the Croyde crowd

The Neumatic came with instructions and is fitted with a rotary valve which must be given a application of wax on the plugs lower shaft before use. You are surposed to be able to turn the top of the valve half a turn to be able to increase or decrease the air without taking the stopper out

Definateley will be surfing the Neumatic with more air in it will be starting with 90 degrees and see how it goes from there. Lost my fin on a bottom turn, was wearing my Pods this is a first for me

Could be down to the 6 foot closeouts perhaps! Laughing

Maybe the hung doesn't need to be too tight.

I think Blimp has a screw-in type, rather than a bung.

Rotary Valve ,well here goes it is has a thicker stem of about 12mm and is 30 mm long which includes the turning head at the top but the stem is hollow and has a 3mm hole just up from the bottom of the shaft which can be lined up with another hole in the rest of the valve body that is in the mat so in therory when the two are lined up air can added or subtracted, hope this makes sense.

Girl in the bikini only saw her when I was getting out, she was hard to miss a strange sort of cooked Lobster colour with nipples like organ stops Very Happy

Always be a Kook just don,t surf often enough but still have a smile on me face even when it,s going horribly wrong.
