Alas not. With a bit of forward planning I would have but I've stuff to do in Plymouth at 9am so it's not really practical. Sad

Might take on some Chally mush burger/double-ups tomorrow avo. It handles an onshore fairly well.

Meor was pumping at 9am this morning. Al and I went in but it was such an ordeal getting through the whitewater and steep dumping waves that it was a bit of a non starter really. God only knows what it would be like in the dark confused

How did you get on Ian?

    Drowned. Wink

That swell looks more west than the forecasts suggested. So does that wind. Just looking at the Polzy cam. Head highish mush.

Flipping horrible around here today. Howling winds a chopped up poop. Still, if it was offshore I'd be there and if I was there I wouldn't be here... Things to do!

Sorry, just got back from work.Big headwind.
Last night was fun, once I'd got past two RTAs on A30!
Meor was tiny, and moon disappeared as soon as I entered water.
More a bodysurf wave there.Surprised two canoodlers and a fox after getting out.
Ambient light from Tate and godawful tower block and crane next door more hindrance than help.
Then I thought, why not Godrevy?Plenty of light from behind sets from lighthouse. Was bigger and better, not much wind.
This's why I don't take camera out much!

Funny, when I got out, twas in Mouzel on Tom Bawcocks!

Wish we had a more consistent pointbreak nearby.Would love to do that at night...
Meanwhile, off to Portreath and thereabouts next couple of days.Big tides!

    Laughing

I know a point. It would have to be a Perigee moon though cause the inside is as sketchy as fook.

Went in for a few waves at 6pm on meor. Thought "oh its died off" but got my arse kicked by a monster wave that dumped me on the beach and left me begging for forgiveness. Small stuff for me from now on. Al warned me not to go in but there we go. Not been a good day for me mat-wise

Glad to hear you had an ok night Ian
