Something for the weekend?
What plans do people have for the weekend then? I'm sick of surfing alone so will be driving.

Re: Something for the weekend?
Right now dawn Saturday looks like a reasonable bet for Polzy. That Sunday might be a Polly session. I need to get this Bellyboard on something so that could be good for it. If its on fancy taking Da Bomb and The Chisel out?
I think I'll look Friday night and decide what I'm up to then cause Sunday looks like it could go flat at the mo. Forecast is changing by the minute innit!?

Next Tuesday looks a challenge.

Re: Something for the weekend?
I'm also wondering about the spot near your old office for Saturday dawn. Can you definitely not do Sat A.M. Ian? Looks like you may be missing the best opportunity.
I might check out the options for doing both days. I'm decorating all day Friday so that might earn me some brownie points.

Re: Something for the weekend?
Going to stay local tomorrow (Caerhays) and hope wind drops a little. Neighbour said there was a fair bit of swell still around today so hoping there's something at mid-tide in morning.
Saturday's looking difficult to get out but should be around sunday avo if anyone's out?

Let us know how it goes. I'm thinking Polzy tomorrow if the winds stay light.

Seems to be a small wave at Bamfum. No wind and sun's out too. Great day to paint the front room.
Meeting Adrian tomorrow at 7.30 at New Polzeath.

Caerhays was flat and lacking punch.
Small chance might be able to join you at New Polzeath.

Re: Something for the weekend?
Looks like a bit more wind now but not loads. Polzy is OK with a bit of an onshore and I'm gagging for a wave cause decorating sucks!!!!!!
Looks promising for Polly or Crantock for Sunday. Maybe even Porthy T!

Re: Something for the weekend?
I concur on Porth T.at the moment!
JUst watched my daughter's nativity play "Christmas with the Aliens".
It began with 50 kids in foil bodypopping to Pink Floyd's "One of these Days".Then just got radder...
Wish I had bought HUgh Fearlessly-Eatsitall's Mushroom Guide, though.Even though I enjoy taking a pew on it,nibbling on fly agaric's not to be recommended during school performances...

Porthy T is what "the kids" call Porthtowan, or so I'm told. Polly is Polly Joke. Polzy is Polzeath!
Porthtowan isn't too far for you and Andy. Fancy it on Sunday?

Do you know I came on to say exactly that! How about we all meet outside the Surf Life Saving Club at Porthtowan at 0730 and decide from there.

Re: Something for the weekend?
Turned out to be a top session in the end at Aggie. 1-2' so we both went out with bellyboards. Piskian seemed to like Da Bomb while the Chisel did me proud. Piskian switched to his handplane after a while and ripped!!!
Great laugh!

Re: Something for the weekend?
Yep,that was great!Haven't bodysurfed with a handplane for 2 years or more.G's is brilliant and got me into waves and zooming along a treat.Bigger winter fins helped too.
I'll definitely be doing a bit this week here and there!
