Meor went from dead flat to 35mph onshore foam dump in the space of a couple of hours today. Swell was there but it was blown to s**t

Re: 13/14th October
Difficult weekend for me as Webbo has a stomach bug (especially serious for him) and my Mum has broken her arm. Nonetheless, at this second, the Cornish north coast looks offshore for Sunday dawn (at this second). If that holds then I'll be on it. North in the wind suggests a couple of places.

Sorry to hear about Webbo,G.Is it the 24 hour thing that's going around?Hope he's feeling better.Your Mum should hold back on those Christ airs.
Sun a.m looking theoretically good for our alternative rivermouth, though you know it's my fave swell direction!
Thanks to my Porth Eia informant, will not be riding down there tomorrow morning.More cycling to work then-pssh.

Surfing in the morning? Looks like a dip in the swell early and the tide will be a way out by first light at 7. Wondering if we should look at MP with North Watergate as backup.

Re: 13/14th October
Somehow sorted my internet issues.
Yeah, went in for a couple of sessions locally today. Both were kind of extreme as the swell coming into meor was real rough and tumble. The swell was mayhem so I experienced the matsurfing equivalent of mogul skiing. Launched off one big face and bounced so hard off the shoulder (or remains) of the wave in front that I was convinced I'd popped the Vespa R.T. or blown a chamber.
Plenty of hanging on for grim death as the occasional 5 foot monster jacked-up off the rocks outside and closed-out on us fools who were avin' a go.
Had some sweet rides when the wind died off for the evening session but then it went back to onshore gnar-gnar and p*ssed off, cussing stand-ups having a snake fest so I left.
I hate the smell of Old Spice in the line-up

Re: 13/14th October
All a bit closie-outie this morning. Snagged a few fun ones and Casper went well though.
Beautiful morning too.
