    Hello there.

    Got a smart phone? If so, you can join the UK Mat Surfers WhatsApp group. Basically, it's like a single discussion thread and you get alerted when new messages s posted. You send out a text which goes to all the other members. Essentially a group text discussion thingy.

    For those without smartphones it seems possible to access Whatsapp on your PC with a bit of installation.

    One option is to download a program called Bluestacks from here:

    http://bluestacks.com/

    Bluestacks let's you run any Android apps on your PC (good news for fans of Angry Birds, Words With Friends, etc). Be warned though, this option requires you to have your Account on EITHER your phone OR your PC so is probably not the best option for most.

    Option 2 is to download the Whatsapp Emulator. Details on how to do that here:
