    Well, here's our postcard.

Good job ths is a family holiday and not a dedicated surf trip cause it looks like we've left the decent waves behind us. Small here past two days... Very small. There has been the odd peak so I've had some fun waves, but a lot of very weak waves too.

St Tugen (few places are as stunning as this Village)

Swell's filling in now... As are brisk Westerly winds to mess it up.

    Ho hum...

I shall get in tomorrow if I come across something but I'm certainly not getting up for it, so it's on the gin tonight. drunken Monday on has a bit more promise. Still not ideal winds but a bit of an off centre angle so an opportunity to get somewhere sneaking a cross or even slightly offshore wind.

Anyway, Becky (Mrs G) got a couple of snaps of me and Webbo today.

So basically I'm missing loads then. Been sh*t here all the way. Probably OK somewhere around here right now with the winds dropping to nothing, but you know when you just get sick of driving about looking for it? When it starts to get on your tits it's time to crack open une boutille du vin and just get mert-visaged.

Anyway... despite my last comments, we're having a good laugh out here. Great to get away sans x-Box, work, news, blah... blah... blah...

Just gotta get off the internet and I'll have it all. Very Happy

Anyway, one one bottle down (in between yoga and circuit training with Webbo).

    Later!!!

Finally a decent wave. Really don't understand the vans all camped down at Baie yet none get up for the brief offshores! One even stuck his head out to tell me to turn my engine off (and apparently its the bloke on the lilo who's the kook!).

Well, its gusting 50mph now with heavy rain so I'm the one tucked up in bed. Good luck finding a wave campers! Laughing

Had 3hrs on it and had a great barrel on the inside on one. Stoked.

    Smile

Took a look at [Pointe du] Lervily earlier. Even in the howling onshore it looked almost tempting. I'll still some pics up dreckly.

I was hoping for Roches Blanches (AKA Leyde) but not on at all [below] unfortunately so that's me done for sessions. Been a bit let down surf wise but a few fun waves and a good session to finish.

    Great holiday anyway. Smile

    Well, home again.

Crossing back was a touch lumpy with Becky being pretty rough. Looks like some local waves with the wind going offshore tomorrow so I'll probably wrap things up with a wave.

    Good week. Smile

    Another couple of shots.

Point du Lervily. HOWLING onshore on this day but you can see what goes on:

Family shot next. This was a pretty cool stoneage structure. Barely visible as it was in a hedge and cornfield.
