Looks pretty good for the south Coast on Friday.

Anyone up for some South Devonian/SE Cornish action?

That's Challaborough so might be a bit far for you. The D-Spot might be on though if that swell does what it says on the tin and is perfect for those winds from 0730 or so.

    cheers

Remind me where the D spot is? If it's anywhere near the G spot I'll never find it.

I'm tempted to get up early for it, even though my 3 kids have FORGOTTEN HOW TO SLEEP this week.

    It's Chally mate.

Shame you're working. Days with waves are a rarity at the mo!

Sent you an email on where Dan.

Seems to be a bit of swell kicking about. Meeting at about 0730-0745 makes sense with the tide/winds.

    Cheers

Great little session that. Me, Graham G and Surf Empty zooing out the place!

    Shocked

The winds were a bit weird, starting more northerly than forecast before swinging more west than forecast! Perfect timing as it coincided with the swell dropping and the "crowd" arriving.

Probably not the ideal spot for Graham's second session on the mat after being awake all night but he just got stuck in anyway!

Well needed fleck of gold in the sack of sh*t surf we've had of late.

Was a good bit of fun alright, I love surfing new (to me) spots. Good punchy wave that too!

Good to meet Graham too, he put in some shift on the back of no sleep and 2nd time on a mat. cheers

Zero wind, thigh to waist high, sunshine and looking like the shot up top. Very pleasant hour and a bit on a bellyboard.

    :-)

Also, good to surf with Bryn Dampney of Kovert kneeboards, trying out his latest shape. Impressive work.

    Cheers

To be honest mate, other than the few "sneaker sets" it would have been a struggle on a mat. Those few sets were lush though. Only about waist high but great shape and really clean.

Banks are lovely at the mo.

    Smile
