Sounds tempting, but get up at 04.30 on my day off? (When the kids have kept me up for the past two nights)

    Yup.

By the time you get home they'll be at school and you can doze the day away.

    Very Happy

I called our illustrious leader earlier to check the time and told him I was going for a surf. He said "but you'll be all salty".

£75 of my own money to go on the course? I'll turn up f*cking naked for that:) price if I want to!

Caerhays was sweet this morning. In at 7.30, bit weak at first but some real nice sets (3ft) rolling in about 30 mins later for a good while. Long breaking lefts off the rocks and connecting with nice reforms at centre of beach.

Two kayak surfers out sharing the stoke and a shy porpoise!

South's bigger than north with this swell and its a wee one. I'm gonna take on Bamfum at 0530 or so if anyone is around. could be a bellyboard session looking at it.

Rest of the W/E is a write off I think.

Happy Birthday to Surfmatt for tomorrow. I'll gift you up next time I see you.

Bantham was knee high. Looked at Challaborough first which was the same so could've saved to uber-paddle across the river.

Anyway, a few fun belly slides on Da Bomb before it all died off.

Swell's gone. Largely flattened by the strengthening wind.

Glad I got in yesterday! cheers
