    Hey south coast matters,

can anyone offer me any pointers for an early morning wave local to Exeter this weekend?
    Exemouth? Lyme Bay?

I'm far from an expert on that part of the world but Dawlish Warren could have a wave looking at that swell angle on New Years Day morning.

    Cheers

Yeah, I've seen Lyme regis looking lovely before - 4ft clean lines across the bay. It was a bit of a surprise and I was there for a different reason, so no kit and no waves for me.

I didn't make it out to Dawlish either.
In fact I haven't managed to get wet this whole Xmas, what with a progression of family illnesses. I took 2 weeks off and there were waves up my way as well!! Crying or Very sad
