US Only - 4GF Standard Bluestreak

Paul Gross has a 4GF Standard Bluestreak for sale. I fixed this up for him to try out the Stippleback Vulkem grip.

This has been test ridden once by PG so is basically new but PG is knocking a bit off the price as it has been in the water.

Price: $225 including shipping (within the US only). That's a significant saving on the price of buying one from UKMS and having it shipped.

Hi Stu,

Graeme did the deck on a 4GF Standard Blue Streak so I could test out his non-skid technique.

My impressions of the G-skid was that it had an optimal amount of grip, and the placment was ideal too. I couldn't have been more impressed. It's the way to go on Blue Streak type of mats.

That said, I prefer the canvas decked/thin bottom mats over the Blue Streak (all thin nylon) mats. While the Blue Streaks have a bit more glide, I like being able to move around the deck while I ride, and the combination of moderate grip and the added bit of longitudinal stiffness of the "hybrid" mats allows this.

Having grown up riding canvas mats, there are two factors here. One is that I instinctively know how to move around on a mat to maximize speed, and the other is that when I hop onto a canvas decked mat, I'm a kid again!

It's personal taste, and nothing more.

So, I'm selling the Blue Streak Standard because it's already in here the US, allowing an American mat rider to try it more easily.

Thanks for the reply interesting over the deck meterial I now have a blu streak fatty only used it a couple of times but very impressed by the glide and texture its as close to not having a mat as you can get amazing feeling.
I am looking forward to a couple of weeks in the caribbean to realy check it out, Many thanks for an amazing surf machine.

I am neutral in the deck debate.Have a Neu with ultra renewed Vulkem deck(ta Dale and G) but my summer mat has canvas strips only enhanced by Poundland grouting.Depends on so many factors eg wave,wetsuit chest(non-smoothskin=zero purchase) and temp(cold=harder to grip with hands).
Anyway,you colonials buy this mat ASAP!

Update, 10/16...

A few nibbles, but no buyers on the Blue Streak Standard.

So, I'll drop to price to $199 with free shipping in the US...the same cost as a stock 4GF.

US matters should take note!
