It's about shoulder high and a very protected spot thats offshore with a sw wind. We have a beach hut their and it's only like this from September - March (when the beach huts are put away)

I have seen the whole area looking like a jbay copy : )

    Hi Jerry

Nah, just up the road from where you surfed on sunday.

Had a cracker at bournemouth on sunday but the crowds were some of the worse I've ever seen. : (

Crowds have been strange at Highcliffe had all to myself Friday for a couple of hours more crowded when it is small Bournemouth /Boscombe to small to surf ? . It has been 6ft and clean twice this month with only a few out but the paddle out can be a bummer.Given up with Boscombe although the wave on left of the pier was tasty last time I surfed it but the drop in, just spoiled it for me and felt it only a matter of time before ending up on the wrong end of a short board.

Your spot one takes it is across the river mouth under the shelter of the headland ? Might try Zig Zags sunday in that wind and 4 meters of swell but trying to find somewhere nearer home in these conditions
