Well, looks like north coast shelter this weekend, although there are spots around my way that will work on a southerly wind.

Friday's are difficult for me at the moment as Webbo is off school and Becky is using my day off to get some work in. Shame because the north facing spots will be going off. Anyway, I might look at a local wave at first light before the tide gets up.

People up for hooking up, get in touch.

    Cheers

I think that all the usual North coast sheltered spots'll be very crowded this w/e,but certain rivermouth's may be fun!

That's a good shout' as long as the winds go south enough. Otherwise, Hayle Rivermouth might be a goer.

Gonna take a crack at high tide Harlyn tomorrow (Sat) as there's a fair bit of west in this wind.

    Anyone coming?

Nope, going to hit rivermouth, partly cos there's a huge amount of South in wind, and partly cos it's one of biggest tides of year!Have a good one!

Right then. Sounds like Harlyn might be a bit much for Webbo with Graham German's report of god ol' Harlyn dumpers along the length of the beach.

Gonna have a look a Pentewan with him. Think it might be knee high or so... just nice for the little man. Anyone looking to get their kids in the sea tomoz, we'll be there around 10 or so.

Right then. Just checked the forecast and gonna go local tomorrow (Sunday). Tons of south in the swell and a bit of East in the wind so if anyone fancies a South Devon session I'll be at Chally at 0515.

    Cheers

Hope people get good waves today. Looks ace. Meanwhile I'm going to compose a letter:

    Dear Met Office.

Please get significantly better at what you do.

Yeah, was good this morning, though went in at Perran for only a bit, tide got too high, then headed to another good hightide spot where I traded shoulderhigh peelers with Pete, worldclass kayaker(as in waterfalls, whirlpools, flumes).
Swell soon dropped right off on dropping tide, then wind promptly turned onshore,as land warmed up.
Another lesson for the duvet monkeys,eh?
