    Yep the wood alongside will be built up along the rail line to a thickness of 3", I'll then shape it into a spoon : )

    Varnish with marine stuff and thinking about keels as i can do them ; )

    I keep looking at this thread just for Joes workshop, and the extraction points.

    Always add a hand plane or paipo building session onto the mat meet : )

    Extraction is a must, keep an eye on http://www.rutlands.co.uk/ as they have some great discounts every now and then.

    Next on the list is a set of Plano vertical clamps but it's going to take a little saving.

    Bit of work on velo tonight, planed and belt sanded the blank thining out the tail for plenty of flex. The tail has about 2" of flex side to side
