Is anyone surfing tomorrow? Bags of swell with the merest hint of south in it with strong SW winds.

Is there enough for uber-sheltered S. Coast? Probably not with that angle. Is there enough for uber-sheltered North Coast spots? Perhaps...

My plan then is to take a gander at a super sheltered number in the Connies/Polzy area at dawn. If that's not happening, I'll check Harlyn to decide whether to head East to shelter as the tide drops or to just charge down to Hayle Rivermouth.

Who's with me? If it ends up going West I'm happy to share cars once we hit the A30.

    Cheers

Shame you can't make it. What time and what size for Harlyn mate? I'm trying to figure if my spot will be on.

Friday has a little wave local to me early by the looks of it but the weekend looks a write off to me. I have decorating to get on with anyhoo.

Harlyn was well overhead today, so wherever your thinking of will surely be showing something!swell seems to be getting into most places at the moment, so go search & enjoy & maybe catch up some other time. Smile

That certain somewhere was flat. Ended up going out at Harlyn. My report:

Pretty lumpy 3 foot or so with some bigger sets now and then. Closing out a fair bit but the odd fun one coming through. Backing off and doubling up a lot too with a lot of waiting about. Still, sun was out and the wind was lighter than expected so can't grumble too much although I really do need a decent session soon..."

And now the report from "Des" with his Constantine Surf goggles on looking at the same spot at the same time:

    Bless him.
