    Post  GRAYMAN on Mon Apr 09, 2012 6:29 am

    Shot by Dane Peterson of Mike Stewart on a Wegener Paipo.

    Right old sponging pose. The man is half fish.

    Mike is still the MAN...

    From the collection;

    1st generation Mach 7-7 (from 1982-1984, bugger all survive due to black or brown bottom which would bubble up with the mearest lick of direct sun light

    Oh man those 7-7s were best.Easy to dropknee and floaty in the small weak slop.
    Met MS at Towan.He was doing ARS moves in 1 ft crap.Annoying.His bodysurfing's unreal.

    Towan Newquay.He was doing a promo tour for Morey with Jay Reale(awesome bloke,and his wife Vikki,who rips too,they run ebodyboarding.com,good for anything you can;t get over 'ere).
    Threesixty mag had just started(as a broadsheet ala Kook;they should've stayed that way).
    Pro bodyboarders seem pretty friendly;emailed Jeff Hubbard about his stretching routine.He replied asap with loads of useful tips.
    enough name-dropping.Now for some proper drop-ins!
    Talking of which,I just remembered my local surf shop in Japan,called "DROP-IN".Summed up most of the customers!
