Andrew Stephen Buck at his home break. Footage by Chris Keet. Check out Chris's website: Surf Happens

    Please watch in HD.

Check out ASB's hand positioning: inside hand flat on the deck a few inches back and under the shoulder. The outside hand is on the rail with the forearm along the rail rather that back with the elbow up. This gives a lot of fine rail control and allows ASB to have full control over the pressure in the mat. Fins are out of the water being dipped occasionally when needing to get directional stability.

Perfect example of how to do what we do.

    Cheers

It's lovely technique, though the wave's holding up way beyond belief for us dumpy beachbreak convicts!
Love the chap busriding at the end...
